Take into consideration that you need extra length to tie the reins onto the hackamore! So go at least 2ft longer. (1ft = 30cm)
The lengths listed are of the entire rein.

Disappointed
I really like them a lot but they’re way too short Am I able to return them for longer ones?

Hi Joanne, I’m sorry to hear you are disappointed. You can of course return them and get longer ones instead :) The mecate style reins are meant to be used as reins only. The traditional mecate we make is 20ft (6m) long. I’m guessing that’s the one you are after? Shoot us a message and we will organise a return for you. Judy x
